DSB City Pass
Getting a DSB City Pass is the best option if you are likely to use public transport (bus and metro) more than three times a day – and if you’ve got a lot planned, you definitely will! The City Pass will save lots of money and hassle with ticket buying, which makes your trip much less stressful! It can be bought online in advance, on the app or at the airport’s train station. There are a few options to chose from when selecting the right pass for you. There are two options to begin with, ‘small pass’ OR ‘large pass’. The small pass covers pretty much all of Copenhagen and you are unlikely go need the large pass, but check that your hotel and destinations are within the small pass map before purchasing. Then, you must select the amount of hours you’d like the pass to last. You can choose from 24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs 96hrs or 120hrs. Remember that the pass is activated as soon as you purchase, and that you need to carefully think about how much time you need it for, including your return to the airport. Hop-on, Hop-off Bus
The Hop-On Hop-Off bus in Copenhagen is a great option to choose, and includes all the main tourist spots! The tickets are valid for 72 hours and you can literally get on and off any of these busses at any time. The busses also include audio commentary in 11 languages, which will provide information about the sights you are about to see! PLEASE NOTE: The tickets can be bought online but you MUST print your ticket to gain access to the bus. Prices start at £20.70 per person. COPENHAGEN CITY PASS
The Copenhagen City Pass is mostly a pass for attractions around the City, including the Zoo, Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace and so so much more! This pass DOES NOT get you access to public transport such as the metro and busses, however it DOES include the Hop-On Hop-Off bus which you can use throughout your ticket time. These passes can be accessed from your phone, so no need to worry about printing anything off! Copenhagen CARd
Another option is the Copenhagen Card which again you can select to use for 24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs or 120hrs. This card allows you to use the bus and metro as much as you’d like, and also access to many of the amazing attractions in Copenhagen. for many things that are not included in the pass, there are discounts and offers to save you more money. Also with the pass comes a free guide and so much information on their app. If you’re travelling with young children, this is a brilliant card, as per each adult card purchased, you can get two children’s passes if they’re under 10. Hire a Bike
Pretty much everyone in Copenhagen cycles which is probably why they’re all in such great shape! It’s an easy and effective way to get around the city and is much better for the environment than driving. Bycyklen is an amazing business to rent bikes from in Copenhagen. They have biked dotted all around the city and you can create an account online, find a bike and simply log in. The screen on the bike is so easy to use and even has GPS! Before riding a bike in Copenhagen, please familiarise yourself with the bike rules to keep yourself and others safe during your journey. The bikes are electric and last for about 25km, so when you’re finished, simply return to a docking station and job done! Lime Scooters
If you haven’t already heard about Lime Scooters, then definitely look them up! They’re popping up in cities all over the world, and are an incredibly easy, convenient and fun way to travel around. These electric scooters are much better for the environment than cars, and you don’t even have to find a docking station, providing you leave it somewhere safe! The app will help you to locate a scooter, but that shouldn’t be hard as they are literally everywhere!! When you sign up for lime, you will add you payment method, and then you pay as you go.
