Paris – A Musical Night in the Lyric Hotel.

When choosing hotels to stay in during city breaks – I don’t look for much other than cleanliness, good service and decent star ratings. Well, the Lyric Hotel changed all that for me, and I now have high expectations! (sorry hotels!) Our stay there was absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t have loved it more.

The Location – The Lyric Hotel was in the perfect location. It was situated in an area that had 6 metro stations within a 6 minute walk, one station was less than a 2 minute walk and we used this one regularly as it was PERFECT! Along the same road as the hotel, is restaurant after restaurant so you are literally spoilt for choice when looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner drinks or snacks!

The Room – Each room is decorated with a musical style and colourful theme. The bathroom was very modern and posh, with power showers (I cannot live without a power shower!!!!) and gorgeous sinks. Our room was complete with a huge smart TV… with Netflix which you could log in to (yay?!?!?). They also had a selection of tea and coffee with a coffee maker that does everything for you. We were on the 5th floor and had two small balconies which had the cutest views of pretty Parisian buildings. Everything was very clean and spacious and they made sure that you had everything you needed!

The Facilities – The Hotel had a lovely lounge area that you could hang around in and help yourself to a coffee. They also had a breakfast area downstairs which was decorated with flowers and was very clean and nicely laid out. Breakfast was a help yourself Buffett service which had everything you wanted from cereals, cold meats and cheese, to fruit and even cooked breakfast. It was perfect. The hotel also had a small gym, a pool, sauna and steam room which was perfect for us to relax in after a long day of exploring Paris. We had the pool to ourselves for the majority of the time which was even better – it felt like our own little spa!

The Service – The staff at Lyric Hotel literally couldn’t do enough for you, it was lovely. They checked us in promptly and gave us all the info we needed! The staff even sat with us in the reception waiting area for half an hour at 11pm helping us order a pizza takeaway to have in our room as we were hungry! How lovely is that??

A huge thank you to The Lyric Hotel for looking after us, and if you’d like to stay, click here and head over to their website, you won’t regret it!

As always, love Elise x

We have a trip to Paris booked for the new year and cannot wait. We couldn’t choose a hotel but now thinking of staying here. Is it in a good location?

Hiya! We loved the location as it was very close to train stations and loads of restaurants. We found that wherever you stay, you’re close to some things but not others, which is why it’s our priority to be near a station. This hotel is perfect for that.
I hope you enjoy your trip, are you going in the winter or waiting till summer? The hotel also has a lovely pool too so you can enjoy some down time. I hope you love it!
