The Small Holding
The Small Holding is named on the best restaurants in Kent and are the true meaning of ‘from farm to table’. They are located in Kildown, Cranbrook and have their own farm – how impressive it that?! Four Fathoms
The Four Fathoms is a historic pub in Herne Bay and has a range of vegan options on their menu. They are well loved by the locals and have a courtyard garden which is very popular in the summer! Book here.
Marleys
Marleys, based in Folkestone is a beautiful restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and friendly faces. Marleys cater for vegans with multiple delicious options to choose from! Oh, and their coffees are pretty good too. Book here.
Cafe Nucleus
Cafe Nucleus is located in both Rochester and Chatham and are great spaces for social drinks and dining, with added class. My personal favourite is the cafe located on Rochester high street. It is well known for its social London style feel and its high-end decor and delicious food will leave you wanting to come back for more! Book here.
Coppers
Coppers is a gorgeous authentic, yet modern Indian restaurant. It is one of the few Indian restaurants that offer vegan options. It is based in Hythe and you can dine in, or opt for a takeaway if you prefer. Book here.
Veg Box Cafe
The Veg Box Cafe is vegetarian and vegan cafe that offers a huge variety of healthy foods. They are an independent cafe based in Canterbury with a focus on local and organic foods. Veg Box Cafe also offer deliveries, including ready meals and/or ‘survival boxes’, where they deliver enough food for your household for a whole week! Book here.
The Bus Cafe
Yes, you read that right! You can have breakfast or brunch on a bus in Margate, how cool is that? Theres nothing like a unique experience on a day out, and this is definitely a hidden gem in the area. The owners pride themselves in sourcing local ingredients and working with other Kentish businesses, and share some more information about that on their website too. The Bus Cafe caters for vegetarians and vegans on board, as well as gluten free options! The Bus is located on the seafront, so you can catch a view of the sea as you tuck into breakfast. Book here.
The Pig and The Sty
The Pig and the Sty Restaurant is a member of The Elite Pubs and excels in everything from gorgeous interior, tasty food and menu variety. They have multiple vegan options on the menu and every one is absolutely delicious!
