The Beautiful Bell Inn – A New Forest Hotel.

Lewis and I had a week off work and decided that even though we didn’t have a ‘holiday’ booked, we still had to go and explore! What better place to do that than one of our favourite weekend destinations – The New Forest!! As this was a very last-minute trip, we didn’t head off until about 2pm, meaning we arrived about 4pm. We went straight to the hotel which was so convenient to get to as it is straight off the m27/a31.

The Hotel – The Bell Inn

We arrived at the hotel and had a very speedy check in with a very helpful and friendly receptionist. We then got settled in the room after having a sneak peek at the hotel lounge area, bar and restaurant. We had dinner booked for around an hours time, so we decided to relax and enjoy a break from life in our beautiful cosy room, which in comparison to many hotel rooms we’ve stayed in – was huge!! One thing I really loved about this hotel was how everything felt so cosy and relaxing, everyone was really happy and friendly and it just took all your stresses away.

Ok, so let’s talk about dinner. It was unbelievably tasty, beautifully presented and made the perfect evening. We sat in the beautiful restaurant inside the hotel, and I was already obsessed with the decor and style! I ordered wine and rib eye steak (which was amazing?!?) and Lewis had ciders and pesto tagietelle which of course I had to try some of – how could I resist? After, the lovely waitress managed to tempt us with a dessert (not difficult), and that was it – we were in heaven!

If you’re thinking of staying in The New Forest, you must have a look at this hotel, it’s perfect for families, couples and even welcomes doggies! The garden is also perfect for those summer evenings and has lots of activities such as connect 4, giant chess, jenga and more!!!

The next day we drove around The New Forest and walked around enjoying a very rare British summer… oh and we found a tree swing!!! All in all, our 24 hours in The New Forest was perfect,

As always, love Elise x

We love the New Forest so much! We don’t usually stay there as it’s not far from us but I’d definitely go here for dinner, the food looks amazing. Mel x

It’s a lovely stay if you want something cosy. If you’re not likely to stay, do still go for the food though as it’s delicious! I can recommend the steak!

Will do, my partner is from Somerset and just finished a job in Bournemouth so knows the area quite well.
