Those of you who regularly read my blog posts, or follow me on Instagram will know just how much I love The New Forest! In fact, the first time I went and saw all the ponies, cows and donkeys roam free around the beautiful countryside, I burst into tears of happiness. If you haven’t been, I cannot recommend it enough! The endless countryside strolls, bike rides, fun drives, beautiful hotels and stunning nature is second to none in the UK. One thing that really stands out to me in The New Forest, is how lovely so many of the hotels are. Now that we have tried a fair few, I’m putting together my favourites; in the hope that you’ll love them just as much as I have! All the hotels listed have been tired and tested by myself, so enjoy!

The Huntsman of Brockenhurst
The Huntsman of Brockenhurst is a brilliant hotel for many reasons. They have a restaurant on site which was just lovely, the food was very good quality and reasonably priced. The rooms were stunning. We stayed in one that you access by the garden, and I fell in love with the decor and overall design. It’s also in a great location, Brockenhurst is near the centre of The New Forest and is great for walks, and also has cafes, shops and more. There is a car park on site, and the staff are more than happy to help in any way possible.

Passford House Hotel
Passford House Hotel, located just North of Lymington, is a large, traditional hotel surrounded by gardens and greenery. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym and offers massages too! They have a lovely ‘Monet Garden’ and tennis courts to play in. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with views over the terrace. Passford house Hotel holds a lot of it’s charm and has multiple areas you can relax in during the day.

The Bell Inn
The Bell in is is gorgeous hotel and restaurant situated in the North of the New Forest, in a small village called ‘Brook’. The bed was so cosy and the room was equipped with everything you need, but the highlight has to be the restaurant! The dinner menu was amazing and the quality of the food was just so good, we really enjoyed our meal. The decor is beautiful and there is a lovely living area to chill out in if it rains (it is the UK, after all). The garden in The Bell Inn is lovely, and has lots of seating for drinks in the sun, as well as lots of games such as giant chess and games for children.

The Master Builders
Located in Buckler’s Hard, near Beaulieu, The Master Builders is a beautiful hotel which is the perfect place to be in the summer. The hotel has gorgeous surroundings, beautiful rooms and a lovely restaurant to enjoy. Buckler’s Hard offers amazing views of the boats as you wander down Beaulieu river, and the gardens are lovely too. Staff here are just lovely, and always happy to help.

You’d love it!
Yes. If you can, I’d highly recommend taking a car as the drives are beautiful and you can park up and go for a lovely walk. DONT feed the ponies as it is so dangerous for them, they’ve started walking up to cars etc. And get hit.
Try some cafes/restaurants in Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst! Take a picnic too, there are so many places to stop and sit with a gorgeous view! X

Thanks for the advice, it all sounds so good. The pony warning made me think of the deer here in Richmond Park, it’s actually a big problem.
Wishing you a lovely week. Xx
