There are lots of lovely coffee shops, independent gift shops and much more in Castleton. Make sure to pop into these shops and support the local businesses, although some take cash only, so bare this in mind before your visit!

Mam Tor

Mam Tor, a beautiful countryside area by Castleton is one of the most scenic places in The Peak District. There are plenty of hiking routes with gorgeous views in this area and lots of wildlife all around. There are lots of parking spaces in Castleton and Mam Tor, so you can easily park up and go out to explore. Make sure you take your camera, as the views are phenomenal! If you decide to do one of the many walks in the area, please ensure you are prepared and have some sort of map, and water!
